Hey all! Hope you like our demo and screenshots. We're thinking about continuing work on the project, or at least our backend API which simplifies the aggregation of the service APIs. Let us know what you think. Also, I'm pretty sure about 3 Lyft drivers showed up to YC unintentionally during the demo expo. Lol.

While I think a well-functioning service like this is useful to end consumers, I'd be surprised if the successful ride networks are supportive of having 3rd parties get in between them and their consumer dispatch (is that why Uber is missing?).

This reminds me of Corral Rides. @snirkodesh and team pivoted to Hitch, "an affordable way to get around SF by sharing your ride." Are you planning to continue working on this, @ohnobackspace?

Isn't this what Corral was building before they received a C&D from Uber?

I love the idea @ohnobackspace and have toyed around with it myself the past, but have the same thoughts as @deekay -- you're at the mercy of the provider, and they're not incentivized to let you hook into their network and give their users alternatives. (at least at this point, may change if things flatten out a bit).
