Hey Folks, Huge thanks to @kevin for hunting Onepane and supporting us. 🚀 I am Ashmil Hussain, co-founder of Onepane. I handle engineering/product. In the last couple of years, I have helped large enterprises with observability from strategy to execution. This involved working with native and 3rd party monitoring solutions and with cloud infra stakeholders on many use cases like service availability, governance, performance vs cost optimization etc. Getting a core view of all the data from multiple tools was the first challenge, then would be the challenge for specific teams to build their use cases quickly. Whatever data can be auto-populated is fetched from the sources, pattern, and missing data identified. We have an intuitive workflow that prompts the users to complete or correct missing or wrong data. The resulting environment map is verified by the system and user. The system continuously monitors the environment to auto-update changes, presenting users with the latest state of the environment. Users can slice and dice the data to get their own view of metrics (cost, performance, compliance score etc) by project or services. Hi Folks, As a consultant who has been a part of the establishment and growth of the IT Operations and IT Service Management disciplines over the last 35 years, I am really excited about OnePane. It provides what business needs to remain competitive while giving IT organisations the insights needed to effectively operate Cloud infrastructures to the same standards as they require of their legacy operations. It addresses issues that are pains for companies I have worked with simply and effectively. The best part about it is that it can be used for the cloud needs of any company from a pre-seed 2-person startup to a Fortune 500 company. As a small company with limited resources, the pains of cost containment, visibility of the resources and compliance are just as critical than for a large company as their survival depends on it. As a business design and strategy consultant, I have been super excited to be a maker at Onepane, due to the simplicity in design addressing Cloud 101 problems. The fact the tool can drive value to all teams linked to digital projects that run on cloud is exciting. I can’t wait to hear the feedback from the community and look forward to suggestions from technical and business folks on how their day-to-day cloud experience could be made better. This is an exciting moment. We have had quite a journey from ideation to multiple pivots, to launching now. The team always made sure they build for actual problems by actual users and the final pivot, in my opinion as someone who spent 20 years in IT industry, solve some of the most pressing problems organizations of all sizes using cloud face. Organized cloud that can be governed easily and used by cross-functional teams. The journey so far has been wild. Now the product is out for anyone to use, the journey forward is even more exciting.
