In the background we scan hundreds of thousands of diamonds, analyzing them and narrowing down to the ones worth your time. As a guy who likes to do insane amounts of research before making any serious purchase, I'm definitely bookmarking One True Rock for when the time is right. I wouldn't have even known where to start. Awesome stuff. My future wife thanks you guys in advance.

Does this only suggest traditional mined diamonds, or does it include other stones and synthetic diamonds?

I bought an engagement ring from Blue Nile in December (thankfully she said yes), and this would've been a great tool at the time. I would definitely recommend adding cut options (princess, cushion, etc) and, if possible, additional gemstones. Integrating with estimated insurance value could also be useful, as a high[er/est] quality diamond will retain greater value than a larger off-white & cloudy stone, even if the two cost the same at first.
