What do you think? …

Hey there, we are releasing a new browser for macOS, very similar to Arc from The Browser Company. Soon you will be able to try it out for yourself, when you do let us know what do you think about it!

@baginski11 Looks exciting! Just joined your waitlist. When will I get access?

Maciej Baginski

@baginski11 neat UI! will it be an AI browser?

Maciej Baginski

@tonyabracadabra In the future we plan on integrating Apple On-Device models to Nook, but not as a main feature on the browser, right now we want to focus on making the browser stable.

Nook as an open-source Arc alternative for Mac is super intriguing—I’m really interested in your technical approach and product vision. How does Nook handle resource management and tab workflows for power users? Are there plans for extension support or privacy-first features that differentiate it from mainstream browsers? Excited to hear what’s next for AI-powered browsing on Mac!

Excellent! I’ve been playing around on the alpha today and yesterday. I currently use Zen but love the idea of replacing it with a webkit-based alternative that has the benefits of Zen/Arc. It already runs better! And I’ve missed the Safari animations and am glad to have them back 😂 I wish you all the best. Let me know if you need someone to test twilight versions if you end up going that route.

Thanks so much guys!

We finally had some sanity to browsing when Arc and Sigma came. But they seem abandonware now and my anxiety's been spiking thinking if there will be any alternative or not.

Hope this works out <3
