I’ve been an athlete my whole life, and I’ve practiced meditation for almost 15 years. When I really started to meditate and train my mind every day, I noticed more inner calm, greater focus, and growing confidence in my everyday life. When I began combining meditation and visualization before my basketball games, my performance under pressure improved. Growing up, I was a very nervous and anxious kid, especially before games and competitions, always biting my nails, overthinking everything. I wish someone had shown me a simple way to train the mind for sports.
