Hey Product Hunt! I’m Bill, the founder of MyDocUploads — thanks for checking this out. I built MyDocUploads after repeatedly running into the same problem while working with healthcare, legal, accounting, and agency teams: Sharing or collecting files almost always meant email attachments, insecure upload links, or shared folders that people didn’t understand. Once a file was emailed or downloaded, control was gone. And when you needed to request files back from clients, things got even messier — missed attachments, wrong versions, or sensitive docs sitting in inboxes. So I decided to start simple. Instead of trying to build another “everything” platform, we focused on two fundamentals: - Secure, browser-based file sharing (no forced downloads) - Secure file requests so clients can upload files without email attachments The approach evolved by intentionally not adding complexity early on. We wanted to get the basics of safe file exchange right before layering in anything else.
