Moong Counter is a multi counter for repetitive routines—piano practice, workouts, study reps, deliveries, and more. Create multiple customizable counters, use a resizable floating overlay over any app, check numbers via home screen widgets, and review detailed histor

Hi Product Hunt, I’m the solo developer behind Moong Counter.
When I practice piano, I’m usually doing two things at once, watching YouTube or reading something. But every time I needed to count repetitions, I had to open a counter app and then come back, and it kept breaking my focus. So I built a floating overlay counter that stays on top of whatever app you’re using, so you can tap to count without leaving the screen. On top of that, it supports multiple counters, home screen widgets, and a history log with CSV/JSON export.
Quick note on the design: I intentionally went for a dog-toy clicker vibe. I wanted it to feel like a small handheld counter you’d actually keep around, not another cold utility app. It’s intentionally a bit playful, and I’m curious how it lands for you.
The floating overlay is a Premium feature with a 30-day free trial. Android has lots of device-specific edge cases, and keeping the overlay stable takes ongoing maintenance, so I made that part Premium. The core app is still fully usable and completely ad-free without Premium.
This is the first app I’ve properly shipped, so even a quick first impression would help a lot. What felt good, and what felt annoying? I’ll be reading the comments and replying as much as I can.
