Mocklantis

Mock APIs that update instantly — no restart, ever.

Native desktop mock server that updates endpoints while running — no restart needed. Key features: → Live endpoint editing on running servers → Visual state machine for multi-step API flows → WebSocket, SSE support (mock ChatGPT-style streaming) → API recording — capture real responses, auto-create mocks → Chaos engineering — inject latency, random failures → 100% localhost, no cloud, privacy-first -> Performance: 166,000 req/sec Built with Tauri (Rust). Fast, lightweight, free.

Hey Product Hunt I built Mocklantis out of frustration. Every mock server I tried required a restart whenever I changed an endpoint. Mid-test? Restart. Quick fix? Restart. It killed my flow. So I built one with dynamic routing — endpoints resolve on every request, not at startup. Change anything while tests run. No restart, ever. Then I added everything I wished existed: - Visual state machine for multi-step flows (auth → token → refresh) - WebSocket & SSE mocking for real-time apps - API recording to auto-create mocks from real responses - Chaos engineering to break things on purpose It's a native Tauri app — fast, lightweight, runs 100% on localhost. Your data never leaves your machine. Would love to hear what features you'd find useful. What's missing from your current mock setup?
