Mixlr's been around a few years but has stayed relatively under the radar. It's well designed but not sure it has the audience to attract content creators and at the end of the day, the quality of content is what matters most. This challenge is further amplified because it's real-time.

For live broadcasting, I've used NiceCast - https://www.rogueamoeba.com/nice... (an IceCast client) - which is Mac desktop only, much more complicated to use, and much more powerful.
