Hello, Product Hunters! 👋 I’m excited to introduce Minute to you all here on Product Hunt. # Motivation While there are plenty of time tracking apps available, most are designed for teams and come with unnecessary features for individuals, or they lack the features needed to thoroughly analyze personal time usage. I wanted something simpler yet powerful to help me improve how I spend my time. # Features In contrast to other time tracking apps, Minute is all about focusing on individual use with a single objective: to increase meaningful time and help you make your day more satisfying. Every feature in Minute is designed for thorough analysis. You can organize your tracked time with a folder structure, making it easy to sum and analyze time usage on a folder-by-folder basis. Additionally, the category feature allows you to group multiple folders into a single category for even more comprehensive analysis. For example, you can group folders like "Unnecessary Meetings" and "Social Media" into a category for time you want to reduce, and group folders like "Language Learning" and "Reading Books" into a category for time you want to increase, and analyze them accordingly. # Open Source Minute is open-source software (OSS), so anyone can freely self-host and contribute to the project. One of the reasons I posted Minute on Product Hunt is to find contributors. Contributions are always welcome!

Hey ktmouk, How granular can the time tracking get? Do you have any plans to add features for setting goals or targets based on the tracked data? Congrats on the launch!
ktmouk
Hi @kyrylosilin! Currently, tracked data can be aggregated at the folder or category level, with a minimum period of one day. I really love the idea of adding a feature to set goals! If you’re willing, I’d appreciate it if you could add an issue on GitHub. Thanks!

This sounds like an incredibly useful tool for anyone looking to optimize their personal time management! 🌟 I completely agree that most time tracking apps are too team-focused and can be overkill for individual users. The ability to organize tracked time with a folder structure and create detailed charts for analysis is a game-changer. Plus, the open-source aspect means it can continually improve with community contributions. Kudos to @ktmouk for creating something so functional and adaptable! Can't wait to try it out on the demo site. 🚀
