Meden

An Augmented Reality Social Media

Meden is the world's first Augmented Reality Social Media. It takes the social feed from your phone to the real world around you. It lets you drop digital posts like thoughts, memories, or media in real-world locations. When someone walks by that spot, they can see and interact with those posts through their phone camera, creating a new way to communicate and experience places.

I built Meden because I felt social media became detached from places and real life. We post everything into these infinite feeds… but those posts have no physical meaning. If you met your best friend at a bench on campus — that moment deserves to live there, not just in a feed that scrolls away. So I asked myself: What if social media was not inside the phone… but outside it? What if thoughts, memories, jokes, mini-moments could live in the real world, right where they happened and anyone who passes by could feel it, not scroll past it? That became the core idea. This isn’t just a social media app. This is an emotional mapping of the world. People don’t just share content, they share meaning tied to real places. So the problem I’m trying to solve: Bring social media back to reality… literally. Make digital presence part of real space again — not just screens.

@jose_rohan I love the idea! Already installed, looking forward to seeing how it pans out.

All the best!
