What do you think? …

Nathan Colgate
Last year one of our clients sold his business. The acquisition included the application that we had maintained for him for years and we wanted to give him something special to remember his project (and us!). He was in the music industry and we had an “a ha!” moment where we imagined giving him a vinyl record of our 12,000 code commits played back as a song. We wrote an algorithm to handle the music, our designer came up with branded album art, we wrote a congratulatory note on the back, and… it was an smash hit. He framed it (note facing out) and it currently hangs behind him in his office so that he can point at it and say “I was part of that.” Anyways, we kept using this as part of a project deliverable for client work. And more and more people kept saying “Can you do one for my team?“. So, here we are: Upload your project git log and we’ll turn it into a custom vinyl record for you to give to clients / teams / founders… you name it.
