    documentation sometimes is too shallow

Mautic is a pretty good marketing automation tool. Does the things that big package and big$$ tools do.

Ok, so some of you may not be aware about what all marketing automation does. Here's the thing. It's lead nurturing, lead generation, social monitoring, email and campaigns, landing pages and more. All wrapped up in a nice pretty package, and all automated. Quite simply - it saves you time. Whether you're a Fortune 500 or a mom-and-pop store (and online or offline) Mautic lets you nurture and inform your leads automatically...and still personally! So you don't have to spend your days, and nights, contacting them each yourself when they may not be ready to move forward with something. With Mautic, once your potential leads have been nurtured (and earned points along the way) they will be automatically migrated to your CRM of choice - we integrate with a half-dozen already and more to come. Then you will know they are ready for you to call. It's that simple. Mautic is open source and community driven so it's always getting improved and grown. Oh, and because it's open source and free you can download and install on your own server if you would prefer! Yah for data privacy and security :) Plus, you can use whatever mail service provider you wish. Mandrill, Sendgrid, AWS, Postmark and more. It's nice. It's pretty. It's free. Oh, and if you don't want the hassle right now of download and install, you can signup for a free SaaS version on Happy Hunting!

@dbhurley I'm a big fan of the concept and it's great to see an open all-in-one-tool approach. The onboarding experience is reductionist but the follow up drip campaign is packed with useful information. I'm keeping them so that I can really get my teeth stuck in and test it out for a new project. Great start!

I tried to sign up for it but the username and password I entered never worked, and the forgotten password link never emailed me anything. Not a good start for me I'm afraid!

@dotcomdude Yeah, we <3 product hunt. :) The traffic spike was incredible. We were registering a dozen or so per minute and there were a few over the past 24 hours that failed to instantiate correctly. We were on it immediately and I think they've all been fixed now! Definitely reach out though if yours isn't and we'll take care of it. I know first impressions are the most important and sorry you had a glitch in the process!

@datarade I hate to hear that. It's a bit of a difficult concept to explain quickly. Happy to elaborate though if you'd like to learn more!

Do you have an online demo? Even if I have to input my email address, I'd rather do that then download and have to install it on my server (just to figure out it is not for me). Just some helpful feedback! Keep up the good work David.
