Choosing the right home-service platform is surprisingly hard. Most people open 3–5 tabs (TaskRabbit, Handy, HomeStars, Care.com, Rover…) and still feel unsure. We launched a small beta, and the early data was strong: • 172 sessions • 55 unique users • 53.8% platform CTR (target was 20%) • 35% end-to-end conversion (search → recommendation → click) Mate isn’t meant to replace TaskRabbit or Handy. It’s a lightweight “decision layer” on top of the existing ecosystem.
