Hey everyone! Maker here. I built Malleon Replay because I was tired of the same cycle: user reports a bug, you can't reproduce it, you spend hours guessing, you fix it, and then it happens again. Session replay tools already existed, but they were great for watching and terrible for doing anything about it. So I built one that closes the loop: you watch a replay of a production bug, and turn it into a regression test that runs in CI/CD. Every single session is captured and replayable — no sampling. Replays are deterministic (not screen recordings), they play back locally on your machine, and unique errors are automatically surfaced as test candidates. The approach evolved a lot — I started with just the SDK, but realized the real value wasn't in watching replays, it was in what you do with them. That's when automated testing became the focus.
