I've been a happy user of Mailbird 2 and I jumped at the chance to buy the lifetime deal. This one-time payment for endless use of their great service seemed like a bargain. Mailbird 2 has been a big help, making my email tasks easier with its simple design and strong features. But things changed with the release of Mailbird 3. This new version, although better and more promising, came with a surprise. The lifetime deal I bought for Mailbird 2 does not cover this upgrade. It feels like I'm being asked to pay again for Mailbird 3, and that's a letdown. I thought "lifetime" meant that any new versions would be included. But, it looks like I was wrong. I get that making and maintaining new software costs money. But, it's hard to be asked to pay again after buying a lifetime deal. In short, while I like the changes in Mailbird 3, I'm upset about the extra cost. I hope Mailbird will think about its long-term customers who bought the previous lifetime deal.

Love Mailbird and how easy it is to manage my emails there. Would love to see some things be smoother, but they are minor and only a heavy-duty user would notice.

Mailbird is the best, I've been using it for about a year now. It's an excellent replacment for the regular mail app that comes with Windows, and it has exactly all the features and integrations I need.

The best, and I mean it, the BEST, E-mail app for Windows. Power users will agree. Allows you to move E-mails between accounts seamlessly (rare feature). Yet friendly enough for regular users. I was an Airmail orphan having migrated from MacOS to Windows. Found Mailbird. Miss Airmail no more. Mailbird is SO good, I even use its built-in calendar as my main calendar. Its "add-on" (the calendar) is better than the default Windows calendar. That's to say how high is this program's bar. And you can even access Google Drive, Google Keep, and other web based apps from it, in a "web app hub" like environment. Only one complaint: dark mode has not been ported to their built-in calendar. Weird to switch between black and white inside the app. Suggestion: archive option when inside a "tag" (sub-folder), can only archive in INBOX, in subfolders I have to manually move the E-mail to the ALL E-MAILS folder.

I have been using Mailbird for many years now. After everything else failed on me I gave this a try and I haven't looked back since. I have 6 email accounts combined in Mailbird. You can search, you can create your own folders. It's just perfect.

I'm retracting the nice things I said earlier about mailbird. I knew it was too good to be true. It worked great for months for 10 email accounts and plugins also were flawless. QA definitely dropped the ball on this push as I am far from an edge case. The 2.9.0 push today broke gmail accounts on multiple separate PCs. The license key auth also is is broken to the point where paid accounts can no longer add new emails. This is why I left mailbird as a paid sub the first time. This is strike 2 and I am now back to mailspring.
