@ahmedlocalxpose Congratulations on the launch of localxpose.io! It looks like a promising tool for developers. I'm particularly interested in the CLI aspect and how user-friendly it is for those who might not be as CLI-savvy. It's great that you offer instant secure tunnels and custom domain options. My initial thought is that providing more detailed CLI usage examples or a GUI for those less comfortable with command lines could make the tool even more accessible. How do you plan to improve the CLI experience in future updates?
Ahmed Al Hajri ⚡
@zephyrion Thank you for your interest in LocalXpose and your thoughtful feedback! We're glad to hear that you found the CLI aspect promising. To address your points: * LocalXpose does offer a Graphical User Interface (GUI) alongside the CLI for those who prefer a visual approach. You can find it here: https://localxpose.io * Our documentation includes detailed CLI usage examples and tutorials to help users get started quickly and easily: https://localxpose.io/docs * We agree that providing more guidance for less experienced CLI users could improve the experience, so we'll make sure to update our docs with additional walkthroughs and best practice guides in future updates.

Hey Ahmed, Are there any limitations on the types of applications that can be exposed? Do you have plans for integration with popular IDEs or development environments? Congrats on the launch!
Ahmed Al Hajri ⚡
@kyrylosilin Thanks for your questions and congratulations on finding LocalXpose! • Limitations: LocalXpose supports all TCP/UDP protocols, so theoretically, there shouldn't be any restrictions on the types of applications that can be exposed. • IDE Integration: Yes, we definitely have plans to integrate with popular IDEs and development environments. It's currently on our radar, and we'll keep you posted on our progress.

Well done on the release of LocalXpose! Your solution for secure, instant access to localhost servers is bound to streamline many development processes. How do you plan to leverage the command-line interface and multiple protocol support in your daily work? 🚀
Ahmed Al Hajri ⚡
@andreea_staicu Thanks for your kind words and feedback on LocalXpose! We're excited about its potential to improve development workflows. As for leveraging the CLI and multiple protocol support, we use it extensively internally alongside our GUI version: • CLI: Our preferred method for quick, secure access to localhost servers during development and testing. It allows us to pass flags easily to customize connections. • Multiple Protocol Support: We use this feature to connect to various services like SSH, FTP, or HTTP(S) running on different ports. The GUI makes things even easier by providing a visual interface for managing connections and settings, making it more accessible for new users or those who prefer a graphical approach.
