Too bad you need a computer to make it run. I wonder why there's no one HDMI input and an HDMI output so the colors detection can be made by the box itself.

@snapeuh Yap, exactly my thoughts.
@snapeuh I could see that as an additional feature in the future, but it makes me wonder if they'd have to deal with HDCP decoders for broadcast HD content and movies. That might be a more difficult technical feat than we realize.
@snapeuh http://lightberry.eu/ I have this and it works well.
@snapeuh There are USB video grabbers that will work with any HDMI source (including HDCP support): https://christianmoser.me/how-to...
The tagline doesn't quite do this justice:
@rrhoover They are actually talking about 'Protecting the eyes' on their website a lot. It's just the video that's ignoring this (too bad if you'd ask me).
@rrhoover Yeah, when I first saw that in the video it reminded me of the Microsoft RoomAlive project
I actually backed this on Kickstarter and was pretty disappointed. Half of the light strips are now faulty (started only a few months after receiving it) and the software never gets updated. Most people actually end up using Ambibox software instead. You can learn more about it at http://www.reddit.com/r/lightpack

@stephensilber thank you for the feedback! we recently fixed almost all of the major issues, including multi-monitor support. So just grab the latest version of Prismatik app from our website. And we are going to make a major release coming weeks with brand new UI

That's our pleasure to see all of you here! just use "weloveproducthuntfellows" code to get 10$ off.
Thats an amazing price, compared to what to buy at the moment or build by yourself.
