The idea behind Lighthouse was sparked almost four years ago. We were determined to find a solution to the growing global problem of child exposure to inappropriate content online. After building a successful prototype, Lighthouse has since evolved into the product it is today using revolutionary technology to help parents protect their children from harmful content on the internet. Using AI, we not only block inappropriate websites at a domain level, but we analyse and block inappropriate content within websites, and based on the filter level settings set for the child. Using the same underlying technology, Lighthouse is available as a Home Solution product as well as a School Solution product. Lighthouse was recently launched in South Africa and the UK, and we are gaining good traction which is encouraging to see.
