Hello Product Hunt World,
I'm Eugene, the creator of Life Minute Photos, and today is my 42nd birthday!
Everybody has 10,000s of photos from their life, but it's impossible to scroll through every single photo in a single sitting.
I created Life Minute Photos as a way of visualizing an entire lifetime of photos on a single screen, in a single minute!
Designed as an experience, select a folder of photos and watch as your life presents itself as one of the most amazing things you've ever seen.
You can control the duration of the experience, whether you wish to see all your photos in one minute, 30 minutes, or 3 hours.
You can select how many images you wish to see at the same time, from 1 to 100.
Plus, you can enjoy the experience in both reverse-chronological and chronological order.
I hope you guys and gals have fun, ponder life, and perhaps experience an epiphany or two.

@eugene_ux Free to try, easy to use, and perfect for photographers and travel enthusiasts like me. Many people say the meaning of life is to capture moments, and every piece of scenery makes you feel alive, giving life a sense of purpose. I think this product beautifully captures that sense of ritual.

Congrats on the launch and Happy Birthday! Love this product and a great way to reminisce about the past glory years
Congratulations on the launch @eugene_ux! I am excited to give this a try and see 'my life flashing by.'
The pace at which the photos appear and disappear almost seem to be optimal at a rate that is necessary to keep the experience alive.
I wonder if there are any tweaks or adjustments that the user could be allowed to make in order to control the pace, so that each experience is unique to each user.

@eugene_ux congrats on your launch and for your birthday (btw...this seems like a very good marketing trick for upovotes-I love it 😊). The idea is excellent, we will absolutely give it a try!
So many tearful memories of little babies all grown up. I'm not crying, you're crying. It reminds me of Baraka a bit if you've ever seen that movie.

Seeing a life’s worth of photos in a minute is pretty wild, but like, how detailed can those memories really be, feels like it might just turn into a blur, anyone else think less is sometimes more when it comes to memories?
@autoleader25
Jennifer, thanks for a really thoughtful question!
The app has a slider which allows you to control the duration of the experience. It's set at a minute by default, but you can slide the slider up to 60 minutes or enter a custom number of minutes in the input box.
The idea is for you to enjoy the experience as much as possible and try a variety of combinations of timing and grid pictures.
As you add new photos over time, the experience stays fresh and unique as you find the timing that you enjoy the most.
Happy birthday, Eugene! 🎉 Life Minute Photos sounds like a fascinating concept, especially for those of us with countless memories scattered across devices. I'm curious about the user experience—is it primarily geared toward personal use or do you see potential for social sharing as well? Also, will there be any integration for those who want to pull photos directly from social platforms? Looking forward to seeing how this evolves! Upvote for sure!
