Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m supplyclamp, the maker behind Lexis. I built Lexis because I missed when opening a feed actually helped me understand what was going on. Around 2015, Twitter felt mostly like news and updates. You could scan a feed, see what mattered, and click through to read the full article if you wanted more. Over time, that feeling got buried under reactions, outrage, and endless conversation. I wanted to bring back something closer to that earlier, high-density experience. With Lexis, you follow the world’s top news sites and publications—from major outlets like Reuters and ABC International to smaller independent blogs. Our AI reads the full text and delivers the core of each story in punchy summaries of 3 to 5 lines (around 400 characters). Every post links directly back to the original source, because the point is to send people to the reporting, not replace it. A quick note on where we are: Lexis is still in very early beta. While the AI is great at distilling facts, it's not perfect and can occasionally face accuracy issues. We are constantly tuning the models to ensure the summaries are as objective and factual as possible. How we keep the lights on: Lexis is 100% free to use. Our monetization is simple: we offer a limited number of ad spots on the website for $149/month. This covers the costs of reading and summarizing thousands of global articles every day without having to charge our users a subscription fee. I’m actively expanding our source list. If there are specific publications or world politics blogs you think we should add, please let me know in the comments!
