Claude code is my goto coding agent and has become pair programmer for a while. As my Claude Code setup grew across global and project scopes across different repos, cli is nice to manage this config but UI is nicer — and I wanted one place to see the full picture. The feature I kept wanting was the **Effective vs Files toggle**: not just "what's in this JSON file" but "what does Claude actually end up seeing after merging managed → global → project → local".
