I’m Anthony, co-founder of Laylight.
We’re building an open context protocol for AI, starting with organisations.
Today, company knowledge is scattered across Slack, emails, documents, meetings, code and dozens of other tools. Even when AI agents can access these systems, they often struggle to understand what’s actually happening, what has changed, and what information they can trust.
Laylight connects these sources and builds a continuously updated, evidence-backed understanding of your organisation. This context can then be shared with people and the AI tools and agents they already use, with control over who can access what.
Our bigger vision is to make context open, interoperable infrastructure. We believe people and organisations should own their knowledge, choose their own models and control where their data lives, rather than being locked into a single AI provider.
Today, we're launching our first commercial product. Later this year, we're aiming to open-source our context protocol, with managed cloud, local and self-hosted deployment options forming part of our roadmap.
Our belief is simple: better intelligence starts with better context.
We're still early, and we'd love to hear what you think. Particularly if you're building AI agents, working with company knowledge, or have struggled to give AI reliable access to the information it needs.
