Dániel Marthi
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Daniel, the creator of Laiel. Laiel started as a personal experiment. Over the last year, I kept asking myself one uncomfortable question: “If the next downturn actually hits, how exposed am I really?” As a solopreneur, I realized most tools talk about growth — very few help you calmly assess risk, resilience, and what to fix before things get painful. So I built a short, structured assessment that looks at income concentration, financial buffers, adaptability, and decision-making under pressure — and then turns that into clear, practical next steps. Today, I’m sharing it publicly for the first time. There’s a free assessment, and a deeper report if you want to go further. I’d love honest feedback — especially around what feels useful, confusing, or unnecessary. This is very much an evolving product. Thanks for checking it out, and happy to answer any questions 🙌 PS: If you’re a solopreneur or creator, I’m especially curious how this resonates with your situation.

@daniel_marthi Most tools chase growth, not resilience.

The focus on risk, buffers, and decision-making feels very relevant for solopreneurs right now. Curious to try the assessment and see how actionable the next steps feel.

This is similar to why we built Curatora. Helping people spot what matters early, before problems or trends become obvious.

@imtiyazmohammed Thanks. Exactly this is the point. Of course, the product is in Beta, I'm sure there is a lot to improve, but looking forward for any feedback or inshights. Good luck to you too with Curatora.

A fair question I’ve already seen a few times is: “Why not just ask ChatGPT?”

And honestly — you absolutely can.

But the answer is the same as with many digital products or templates: time.

You can spend time setting context, refining prompts, going back and forth, trying to get to something clear and structured. It works — but it takes effort, and it’s easy to lose focus along the way.

Laiel is meant to be a working starting point.

You fill in a short assessment, get a structured, high-quality report that already frames the right questions, trade-offs, and scenarios — and then you can continue the conversation with AI from a much better place.

Think of it like a good template: not a replacement for thinking, but a way to skip the blank page and start with clarity.

That’s the role Laiel is trying to play.
