Hi everyone! I’m the creator of KeyClicker — an app that brings mechanical keyboard and typewriter sounds to your Mac to make writing and coding more immersive.
Many users believe that typing sounds help them stay focused and boost creativity. Whether you’re writing your next article or coding your next project, I hope KeyClicker enhances your flow and enjoyment.
I’d love to hear your thoughts or any sound styles you’d like to see!

Ooh, this would make my phone typing so much more satisfying! That mechanical keyboard sound is pure ASMR. Any plans for an Android version soon?
P.S. Bonus points if you add that classic typewriter ding - instant nostalgia!
@rani_zagita Thanks so much for the feedback! I’m really glad you like the sound ✨
At the moment, there are no plans for an Android version, but I’ll keep it in mind!

Congrats on the launch! This is such a fun and nostalgic idea, I can totally see how the tactile sound feedback could help with focus and flow, especially during long writing or coding sessions.
Just gave it an upvote! Looking forward to seeing where you take it next!
@samihindi Klack defines mechanical keyboard sounds for each key and provides several sound sets, but it also has some issues, such as system-level shortcuts not triggering sounds. In contrast, my app offers multiple sound options, allowing you to define which keys trigger which sounds. This is the difference I’ve gathered from user feedback, as I haven’t actually installed or used Klack myself, so I can’t make an effective comparison. However, feel free to provide feedback on my app, and I’ll see if I can help implement your ideas.

Nice app! How is this different from competitors like Klack for example?

Imagine this in some co-working space. It would sound like "Murder, She Wrote" series :D
