@alison_sanderson Hi good question. We take user privacy and data very seriously. While it is first party data and yours to manage, we always advise making sure you post a cookie banner on your site with links to privacy policies. If you noticed, we even post one on our own site 😊. They do not have to be big and ugly just transparent and to the point. Your users will thank you for that.

This looks too good to be true does it replace Google Analytics or not?

The data is similar, Kanaree.io provides a lot more data and the uses are different so the short story is no it should not replace GA instead it should supplement that data. In most cases you are using Kanaree.io for deep data mining and user targeting vs GA which is about trends and aggregation.

How much doe it cost me to run on AWS since I store all this data?

That depends on the site and what you want to do with the data. Most of the time to get started site qualify for the free tier of AWS and GCP. From there the cost is usually pretty minimal but the value is very high in owning your own website data.
