I proudly present to you: Justfields! Nothing like scratching your own itch. As a web developer, I noticed that small projects often don't get a CMS, as existing solutions are too much of a hassle. Working often with the wonderful Advanced Custom Fields made me wonder what it would be like to have that banana without the Wordpress gorilla holding it. First I made a prototype in Vue.js that got some flattering attention, which motivated me to expand the prototype into a full fledged product. Hope you like it, let me know what you think.

I love the simplicity of it! And the Gorilla/Banana analogy just made me laugh out loud in a COVID-19 Vaccination center 😂

@bramchi Very cool. Also an ACF user interested in headless use cases. Look forward to trying it out.

Hi, normally I don’t comment, but that’s great!! Thought about the need for something like this over the last half a year. Two suggestions: (1) It would be great to have an additional password option for the individual link - I see clients complaining about security (2) Do you have any plans for a self-hosted option? Would be willing to pay for it for sure :-) Lot’s of data security regulations here in the EU.. Edit: The verification email landed in my spam folder (gmail)
Bram Perry
@timo Thanks for your support & feedback! No plans for a self hosted version at this point.

Whoa! This looks so cool! 😀😀 I saw it outputs JSON only. Would it be possible to add the option to output YAML too? It'd make it easier to integrate with Jekyll websites. 🤎 And YAML basically = JSON, just without the brackets.
Bram Perry
@anna_0x Thanks for your suggestion, interesting idea! Doesn't Jekyll support JSON content out of the box already?
Anna Filou
@bramchi wow. I just now realized!! 😂 I've been using YAML for so long that I forgot it's not the only supported data file format. Thanks! So where does the output go? Do I download it and integrate it manually, can it push it to GitHub by itself…? I'll sign up to play around with it one of those days, just not right now so I'd appreciate the info.
Bram Perry
@anna_0x You can fetch it when building your Jekyll site. Check out the jekyll-get-json plugin for help with that (https://github.com/brockfanning/...).
