This app is deeply personal. Both of us have struggled with food tracking that felt… shame-y. It never seemed like it was made for people like us — women juggling real life, real bodies, and real stress.

My cofounder is an eating disorder survivor and was once hospitalized during her recovery. That experience, and everything we’ve been through, inspired us to rethink how food journaling should feel: gentle, playful, and healing — not like a task or a guilt trip.

Personally, I deal with bad PMS symptoms, train for races, and work under pressure — so nutrition is a big part of how I stay sane and strong. But managing it all got overwhelming.

So we built Jas:
You snap a pic of your food → it becomes a sticker → it drops into your weekly jar. No numbers. No guilt. Accompanied with fun facts/ historical traces/ nutritional hot takes of your dish!
I really wanted something that felt gentle and cute but still helped me stay mindful - which naturally kept me accountable.

Right now, Jas works as a fun journaling game(with hidden gatchas wohoo) — but we’re thinking about:
- Add voice/notes to each sticker
- Mind-body analytics & hormone-matched recs
- Period-aware nutrition tips
- Social features like Friends’ food moments & recipe sharing
- Smaller health experiments tracker like if you go intermittent fasting or gluten-free for 2 weeks we want to know how your mind and body feel!

We’re building the tool I wish I had years ago. So many features that I personally would benefit a ton from(ok I know it sounds like I am building this for myself.) But I hope it’ll help others too.
