Instantly become a verified user on any site The extension fills up sign up forms with a randomly generated email (as well as a username and a password). Protect your privacy by getting a new email for every website.
Congrats on the launch.
1) Is the use-case here to have a temporary registration or it's more for a long-term use
2) How do you protect the username/password combo in this case? Who can see it?

Hi.
1) Once an email is generated, it belongs to you forever. It's your choice how you use it (you can delete it as well).
2) Usernames and passwords are not stored anywhere, it's just randomly generated and a form is filled with it, you can use it or not (and then you can decide whether you want the browser to store it - default Chrome functionality). Only email is stored in the database (so it can be distinguished who owns which emails).
The extension doesn't require any special permissions. Also, all of the code for the extension is available to see (just right click and "Inspect").
When you click "Fill It", it sends a requests to the server to get a random email, a username, and a password. And then, it fills up the form if it finds one (if it doesn't, you can just copy the email yourself and use it). Only an email is stored in our database.
You don't need to use provided username or password. You can fill those yourself to anything you want.
Emails theoretically can be read by us. Don't use this service for anything super important.
We built this for ourselves first. We use this extensively: when we don't want to reveal our real email, when we just want to check some service fast (and get verified automatically without needing to go to the mailbox), or when we want to create some verified throwaway account (e.g. on reddit).

🥳 ok ok ok, this has the potential to be genius! Few things I had in mind: 1. The suggestion of a user/pass/email must be unique per website/session (similar to onepass) currently, every time the user copies the text and returns to the extension to copy another item, the content refreshes. 2. It would be really cool if the service was able to auto-confirm the email for the user. 3.Automatically suggest to create an instalogin when inside a text area - life changer! 4. I really hope Onepass will buy this! It'll make their product much more complete 😎 🤑 Good luck!
