At Ntropy we are building language models to understand financial data regardless of source, format or language. This means allowing developers and product leaders to embed the power of clean and reliable data into their products and services. For over a year, our commercial lending customers have been talking about helping them go one step further, create summaries of businesses and P&L sheets based on bank data. This means making Ntropy useful for the non-technical analysts that need to quickly evaluate a business from the source of truth. Having to go elsewhere for a dashboard, while getting categorization from us was a big hassle and was losing customers time. Hence Insights came about. There are alternatives on the market. What makes Insights different is the quality of the data. Instead of spending time on corrections, you can now focus on what matters and make even the smallest SME loans profitable. SMBs are the lifeblood of our economy. And the big reason they lack access to financing (which kills millions of them per year) is because lenders cannot understand (literally) most of their financial situations (good and bad). Their financial data is just a mess. I'm excited to support Ntropy as they standardize the world's financial information and enable underwriters to instantly recreate financial statements from bank transaction data.
