imgix.js is a dependency-free Javascript library that allows you to easily use the imgix API to make images on your site or app responsive to device size and pixel density. imgix.js allows for intuitive use of imgix features like text formatting, color palette extraction, color adjustments, effects, and watermarking.

@nikitakorotarev there is a parameter that lets you limit the pixelstep to control the renders. Also, depending how the CSS is authored, that will also limit what can be rendered. There are a number of ways imgix can be implemented into a site, this is just one offering. We already work well with src sets and picture tags, but wanted to produce something with a lot more creative control.

If anyone wants to play around with our system to see how customized we can be, all new accounts come with 100,000 free renders and 10GB of bandwidth. We'd love to hear your feedback!

If there is a window-width image, this script will require a new image rendering for every unique window size? This will lead much more render requests to Imgix. Hope there is some breakpoint logic could be specified.
