I love watching all kinds of sports on YouTube. But every highlight video has the same problem: Casters chatting, crowd shots, random fan moments… and the actual game is mixed in between. I want the game at normal speed. I want the non-game parts faster. What I don’t want is constantly opening the settings menu, changing playback speed, dragging the timeline, and trying to stop at the exact moment the game resumes. That’s how HoverSpeed was born: A Chrome extension that lets you temporarily change video speed just by hovering your mouse over a button. Hover → speed changes. Release → video returns to normal.
