There is a severe accountant shortage in the U.S. so we decided to build a marketplace platform where any accountant in the U.S. can set up a virtual practice and pick up jobs on the fly. In addition, we are building an AI tool that will allow any business owner to find quality accounting personnel on the app based on skills, locations, and reviews. Our main goal at HiveGenius is to start as a freelance marketplace for accounting work (AR/AP, CPAs, Tax, Fractional CFO, Bookkeeping, etc.) and then evolve into an ecosystem where accountants can not only get jobs on the app but are armed with state-of-the-art tooling to do their work. We believe that AI is not meant to replace the human workforce but rather, empower it. That is why we are solving the accountant shortage with the human element first and then A.I. HiveGenius is free to sign up for businesses, free to view all accountants on the app, and free to interact/video call accountants on the app. You only pay once you transact or hire a freelance accountant for a project. I am a Founder with a diverse background. An Immigrant from Nigeria who moved to the States; was formerly a top performing Account Executive at Oracle but taught myself how to code and ended up as a Cloud Engineer at Google.
