René DeAnda
Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm René, and I wanted to share why I built Grateful.ly. Years ago, I made an app called Delightful—a gratitude journal where you'd write down three things you were grateful for each day. The user feedback taught me something: gratitude practice genuinely helps people. But there was a gap. Writing in a private journal is one thing. Actually telling people you're grateful for them? That's harder, and that's where the real impact happens. I've wanted to thank my parents for specific things. Tell colleagues their support mattered. Let my kids know why I'm grateful for them. But texts feel too casual, emails feel awkward, and cards require planning I never get around to. I've wanted to build something like this for years but finally made it happen in time for Thanksgiving. Sending cards to my wife and friends this week felt really good. I hope it's useful for you too. Quick feature highlights: Writing prompts to help you get started Beautiful card designs Download to share anywhere Privacy-first (no accounts, messages stay on your device) Free forever I'd love your feedback: Who would you write your first card to? What designs/themes would you want? Personal or professional use? If it's useful, I'd be grateful for an upvote. 🧡
