Developer and Entrepreneur

People can accept and cancel requests whenever/however they want and grabr doesn't do anything about it.

Pros:

Solves a real problem in some countries

Cons:

Horrible customer service/support and community

Company doesn't pay out travelers--they accept money from buyers and don't pay the people who actually make the purchase. It would be like your Uber Eats driver having to also buy your dinner out of his pocket and not getting paid. The concept is solid, the execution is pretty much criminal.

Incredibly cool and useful app that empowers people to follow their dreams of traveling and meeting cool people all over the world

Pros:

Helps me travel more by funding my trips

Cons:

Messaging interface could use improvement

Been using the app for a few months. The app itself is very easy to use and the company has created a very fast, affordable and secure way to get products from all over the world. Some travelers are a bit slower to respond than others, but it’s overall incredibly efficient

Pros:

amazing way to get products you can’t get at home. Especially useful when living overseas

Cons:

some travelers are better than others

Artist for games

Definitely not recommended. Seems like a great idea, but ultimately fails in delivering the promise. First off, everything will be really expensive, people add such a high fee making almost double the price of the item. For an Amazon Alexa (70 dollars) people were asking 60 dollars as fee, and similar with other products. The so called "community" is mostly companies that send messages to everyone, or people who send you their peronal contact to arrange through other means, or at best people with many good reviews that will charge a lot - but you make sure you get your item. Also had the experience of people making an offer, only to cancel it days later, leaving you with no time to find another person to bring it. If you need the item on a dealine, like a birthday, this isn't recommended. So as I said, the idea is good, the execution terrible.

Pros:

The idea

Cons:

Parcl isn't the same, but better in many ways

it has been months without my payment :(

They don’t have a working customer service and if you are a traveler they don’t pay you

They dont pay travelers. It has been over 50 days since I delivered all the goods and nothing yet. Dont ever use this app if you like your money.

Grabr will not help you report users that pretend to bring your item and just cancel it when the delivery date arrives.

Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Tried to buy a memory card for my camera, a guy accepted, and when the delivery date came, he canceled the transaction.

Stay away from Grabr. It‘s a huge SCAM for travellers, they say that the payments are guarenteed but then don’t realize the payout. I‘ve been waiting for over two months now :(

Grabr does not pay out travellers. I have not been paid for months and may loose a few thousand dollars.

The app works just fine. But they don’t pay travelers back. I traveled in March and I have yet to get paid... 3 months later! They are not responding to my communications. These people are thieves. Period.

They owe me $241 for two orders which got canceled due to traveler issues. They promise to refund under a month but been more than 2 months to date(17/7/2020). Let's see if it's really a scam or they refund me and when.
