Most wellness apps tell you what you should do. Good Day Recipe helps you discover what actually works for you. It’s a guilt-free awareness tool that replaces streaks and perfection with curiosity. Track the ingredients behind your best days, uncover patterns, and build a personalized recipe for more good days—without relying on motivation.

This framing around curiosity instead of streaks is really refreshing. One thing that would make it stick for me is a weekly reflection prompt, like "what was different about your best day this week?" it would nudge you to actually look at the patterns you've logged instead of just collecting data quietly.
@fikretsama72370 Thanks for sharing this idea! There IS a weekly recap where the app shows you GDR's insights based on your activity, but I hadn't thought about having YOU do the reflection as well. Really cool idea, I appreciate you sharing this 🙏🏻
Have you thought about adding a gentle weekly reflection prompt that asks what felt off that week, not just what went well? It would balance the recipe focus and help users spot patterns they might otherwise miss.
@damla510033 Hi Damla, A few people have mentioned something along these lines, but I think you make an interesting point about more awareness and reflection about what didn't work -- I have a prompt nestled in the app as you accumulate a few days that asks "Any way I could have made today better?", but it seems to be a pretty high friction question, so up to this point, I have it tucked pretty far back for people to "graduate" into. Adding it into a weekly reflection is an interesting idea though, thank you for this suggestion!
honestly love the vibe of this, the no-streak approach feels way healthier than most apps. one thing i'd love is a quick weekly "what worked" summary you can actually glance at, like maybe a short auto-generated note pulling out the top two or three ingredients from your best days that week. would make the patterns way easier to actually see instead of digging through data
@ekin1365035 Hi Ekin! This exists! Each week you get a weekly recap about the top ingredients (and also there are two running insights that show 1) YOUR "What worked" and then 2) the overall COMMUNITY's "What Word". Thank you for suggesting this, I really appreciate it -- I'm going to make sure this is more easily findable and pointed to!
Loving the curiosity over streaks angle, feels way more sustainable than the usual habit apps. One thing I'd love is a weekly reflection prompt that asks which day felt best and why, then pulls your logged ingredients together to suggest small tweaks for the week ahead. Would make the patterns feel even more actionable.
@uuruz0q Hi Uğur! There IS a weekly recap that pulls together some of this information, but this is a really cool idea about prompt asking which day felt best and why -- I'll need to see if I can incorporate something like this to help bookend each week and give a better practical anchor point for the next week. Thank you!
Used it for a few days and the "no streaks, just curiosity" angle genuinely shifted how I reflected on my routines. Surprised how the ingredient-tracking made small wins feel worth noticing instead of chasing.
@elifozgulb33111 Hi Elif, Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm really glad you noticed a shift already -- This seems to be a trend and other people have been surprised how quickly the awareness comes and then, subsequently, how quickly they want to make changes and adjust =) Really glad the wins are feeling so good for you. Thank you for being here and writing this 🙏🏻
Logged a few days already and the no-streak approach genuinely took the pressure off, noticing how morning movement lines up with better focus without feeling like a chore to track.
@yaar58863951762 Yasar, Thank you for trying it out and sharing your experience! And I'm really glad to hear that you felt the pressure removed (who's got time for that anyway?). Very cool to hear all this, thank you for being here 🙏🏻
