Can you fix the game in time?

Release is coming very soon, and several glitches have been reported. Your job is to fix them in time.

Each level features a different set of glitches that will affect the gameplay: low gravity, water physics, larger enemies, bigger explosions... and many more (there are currently over 40 glitches).

  • Pros:

    Great Game

    It's Addictive.

This can't be blank for some reason... but typing here keeps me from playing glitchbuster... so yeah.

I worked with @remvst at Kik during an internship in my undergrad. Remi is super hard working and loves making games. When I saw he made this game I was inspired. I know he put in a lot of work into this game and it really shows. I really like that the game has some subtle and fun characteristics. For instance, Remi is french and there is some french phrases in this game. Which made me laugh the first time I saw them. P.S. If you ever get to meet Remi make sure to bring a basketball, he likes basketball. Oh and he likes to eat dinner at 7 or 8 PM. :P

Glitchbuster looks pretty cool, please tell us more of the story behind the game @remvst
Rémi VansteelandtMaker@remvst
@abadesi Hey glad you find it interesting :) The first version of the game was made for the js13kgames contest ( ), in which you have to build a web-based game in less than 13kb. I wanted to make a fun platformer with procedurally generated levels like in Spelunky. The game had pretty good reception since I made first in mobile and second overall. After the contest was over I wanted to make something bigger out of it. The main idea that I had was that I wanted the rules to change every time you play it, so I introduced glitches that would deeply affect the gameplay. Then I kept working on it for about a year and a half on my spare time, and took inspiration from many other games, such as Spelunky, The Swindle, Rayman Legends, Broforce, Flappy Bird, Splashers, Super Meat Boy, and many other that I can't remember. I really tried to make the game stand out from any other games by focusing on the glitches "twist", while still having a fun platformer, and having some depth/strategy to it (picking the right set of powers, and going back to the earlier levels to unlock all of them)

Reminds me of Super Meat Boy. Love old-school 2D platforms.
Rémi VansteelandtMaker@remvst
@rrhoover Haha that was definitely one of my inspiration, though the actual game differs quite a bit. If you ever have a minute, I'd love to get some feedback on the demo (available on Steam or at )
