@abadesi Hey glad you find it interesting :) The first version of the game was made for the js13kgames contest ( http://js13kgames.com/entries/gl... ), in which you have to build a web-based game in less than 13kb. I wanted to make a fun platformer with procedurally generated levels like in Spelunky. The game had pretty good reception since I made first in mobile and second overall. After the contest was over I wanted to make something bigger out of it. The main idea that I had was that I wanted the rules to change every time you play it, so I introduced glitches that would deeply affect the gameplay. Then I kept working on it for about a year and a half on my spare time, and took inspiration from many other games, such as Spelunky, The Swindle, Rayman Legends, Broforce, Flappy Bird, Splashers, Super Meat Boy, and many other that I can't remember. I really tried to make the game stand out from any other games by focusing on the glitches "twist", while still having a fun platformer, and having some depth/strategy to it (picking the right set of powers, and going back to the earlier levels to unlock all of them)

@rrhoover Haha that was definitely one of my inspiration, though the actual game differs quite a bit. If you ever have a minute, I'd love to get some feedback on the demo (available on Steam or at https://remvst.itch.io/glitchbuster )
