Tried this out and generated a course on Philippine history, it was actually more entertaining (and educational) than I expected. As a visual learner the interactive format works great for me. I can't wait to try this with my son when he gets older 😃
Question for @alan_wang13: First off, congrats on the launch! How does the course structure adapt when the topic isn't part of a standard curriculum? Philippine history isn't a US high school subject, but the course still came out well organized. Curious what's happening under the hood.

@karlmarty Philippine history is a good one to throw at it. The honest answer is that nothing about your course existed before you asked for it. There's no template it pulled from. It works out the sequence the topic needs, what has to come first, what only makes sense once you know that, then builds the lessons and quizzes around that shape.
This is why our models are education-specific rather than general purpose. A general model will happily give you ten facts about a topic in whatever order they come out. Teaching it is a different problem. You need foundational context before the thing that depends on it, and checkpoints along the way so it actually sticks.

Wow, that's a great app for my little brother! Would love to know: how does it handle courses on topics that change fast, like tech or news? Does it update the content or does it go stale?

Courses aren't stored and served from a library, each one is generated when you ask, so it's built from what the model knows at that moment rather than something written a year ago. That said, it's strongest on topics with a stable foundation: how a technology works, the concepts underneath it.

@alan_wang13 Generated on demand rather than stored, that lands. So the ceiling is whatever the model knows that day, and stable concepts are the safe bet.
Will definitely try this out for my senior year of college! Sometimes I have a hard time with lectures so I hope it can do a good job at breaking down complex subjects.

@thisiskp_ Thanks KP! Pretty customizable, that's the core of it. You pick the topic and your level, so the same subject comes out differently for someone starting out versus someone reviewing for an exam. You can also point it at what you specifically want to focus on rather than getting the whole subject. Then inside the course you can pause any lesson and ask the AI Tutor to go deeper on a specific part, so it adapts as you go rather than being fixed once it's generated.
