gamban® is the first step towards gambling addiction recovery. According to the NHS there are over 500,000 problem gamblers in the UK. It's known as the 'hidden addiction' because people tend to suffer in silence, with only 9% pursuing treatment. This hopefully gives people enough space to begin a path to recovery. Since launch (about a week ago) feedback has been positive: "Thank you so much, your anti-blocking program is a godsend. I have multiple problems and finally getting help. I was spending money which I don't have and getting deeper into debt. I really want to crack this gambling habit." "Your service will certainly help a lot of people in the future. Internet gambling is a big industry attracting all age groups on a 24/7 basis from all locations - so very dangerous." "I’m so happy with the software, you have saved my life!” "I must say, gamban worked a treat and seems like the best blocking software out there, which is great" "I want to thank you for creating this software. The fact that you've made it free really shows how much you care about helping people with gambling problems. I have recently installed your software as an aid to prevent problem gambling and it's been effective so far." John Myers: "If gamban was available then it could have helped my son Ryan, who tragically committed suicide because of a gambling addiction that was allowed to spiral out of control by an uncaring industry. The industry should be made to offer gamban to their customers if they become addicted." Carolyn Harris: "Despite promises to introduce a system where addicted gamblers can ban themselves from all online gambling sites, the industry is still dragging its heels. That's why gamban must be made available to everyone who needs it."

@jacksymons @rrhoover I'd actually include this with ViceTech since 10% or so of people do need support with "vices" and I believe in an impact side to any business/focus. 💪🏻

As someone who works in the gambling industry this is HUGE! Very little is really out there for those with gambling issues; in the states there's 1-800-Gambling and self-ban lists. But really nothing to really block it out online.

@zaccoffman Thanks Zac, user numbers growing quite quickly here - suppose that's a bittersweet thing but feedback so far good
