Hi everyone, I’m John — after 4 weeks and 201 commits, my first solo app has finally reached a level I’m proud to share on Product Hunt! I built everything myself — from UI/UX and coding to marketing and product strategy. It’s been an incredible journey to take an idea from scratch to launch, with full ownership every step of the way. Fullpack uses Apple’s VisionKit to extract items directly from your photos, making it easy to create packing lists, outfits, or inventory collections — all in just a few taps. ✅ Entirely on-device — no external APIs, no cloud processing ✅ 100% private — your photos and data never leave your phone It’s now live on the App Store — I’d love for you to give it a try and share any feedback!

Nice launch! Love the idea of scanning items from photos. Do you plan to add sharing features for packing lists with friends? Could be fun for group trips. Will try it out!

James Whiteman

Haha super fun idea! Plans for an Android app in the future?

John

Sure, working on it!@cogentleman

Sounds really amazing!! Does this also provide the feature to create the look book of the person

John

Apple's VisionKit can extract the foreground subject from photos, so if it's a portrait photo, it can extract the person to create look book.

I need this so much! I always forget what to bring when I go out. I used to use a document to record it, which was very inconvenient.

Cool stuff, congrats. How does it know what items are mine? Vs other people's in my photos?

John

Thanks, and please just take pictures of your own items.
