Early in my agency, we took a funded Vue.js website project on a reputed freelancing marketplace. We delivered the project, revised it 25+ times, and then the client cancelled after the final delivery. I lost $2,500 and 30+ days of work. I paid my developer out of my own pocket, and the platform didn’t care no response, no investigation, they just refunded the amount to the client. My developer’s fee was gone, and my time was wasted. Support offered nothing. That experience inspired me to build Freelancea. Here, clients are verified, freelancers are protected from scams, and clients do not have to pay huge amounts to hire talent. We introduced a $0 hiring plan for clients and take only 7% from freelancers’ earnings. Freelancea fixes this: fair fees, client protections, freelancer safeguards, and human monitoring, so real work happens with real accountability.
