@julienergan Erez here, co-founder and CEO. Beyond adhering to HIPAA guidelines and security best practices our approach is to minimize the surface area of patient information. Some concrete examples: we don't store patient recordings and we delete all generated notes after 30 days. We're also in the process of obtaining 3rd party certifications like SOC2 and HITRUST.

@erezdruk thanks for taking the time to answer and sharing your plans regarding privacy and security. If I’m right, doctors/medical institutions are required to keep patients records for X years. If you plan to delete records on Freed after 30 days. Does it mean the workflow involves transferring all records on Freed to the doctor/institution medical software?

@erezdruk couple other points I was curious about. I watched your demo example. Understandably it’s rather a simple example at this stage. In reality, some medical specialities average appointment can be 15 minutes or more. So I wonder if you’ve already tested the AI on longer and more complex conversations?

@erezdruk as mentioned, appointments can be long. And, they can require doctor/medical staff to use their hands to do some manipulation on patients. Both medical staff and patient might move around in different rooms for examinations. So medical staff can’t be ask to think about carrying their phones everywhere. So wondering if it’s in your plans to develop or sell Freed with a set microphones (attached on cloths) or something?

This has a lot of potential. I go to Weil Cornell and they write notes after each visit in their little connect app and usually its just a blob of text. I'm sure a doctor person like yourself can organize the text in a more professional fashion. Thanks guy!
