I've been addicted to nicotine many times. It has been consistently sold to me as a focus miracle drug and has the opposite effect of crushing my motivation and making me lazy and tired. I built FREED as part of a personal crusade against nicotine. Against products that hold us back in our lives but are sold to us to feed the massive industry. As we see palantir and companies stocking nicotine we must ask who benefits from this? I had made it 6 months last year without nicotine and in a low moment I heard it's siren call and used again. It triggered nearly a full year of cyclical use and quitting. Nobody needs an app to quit nicotine, but I didn't like the apps that were available.
