One of the most useful mac apps that I have used so far. I have shifted most of my apps to Flotato, like twitter, slack, jira, whatsapp, etc. They work beautifully and without eating a lot of RAM on my system.

Pros:

Perfect replacement for a 1000 tabs or memory hungry apps for my Mac. Love it so far.

Cons:

None. Have some feature requests, will keep posting them.

Very impressed with my first impressions of Flotato. Will definitely keep using it over the next few months to evaluate it further.

Pros:

Takes things very easily into the task bar. Lower memory and cpu footprint Free (with an optional Pro upgrade)

Cons:

Links sometimes open in the same window, there often isn't an easy way to navigate back, for example HN

I didn't think I would use yet another open website in webview app but I really like this one so far. Using it for Trello so far. Might even add some more apps.

Pros:

Using Safari so RAM friendly, Works very well

Cons:

None

I deleted the huge Electron Trello and now use Flotato. Faster and takes up less disc space

I love how it implements a web-app wrapper using Safari, and not Electron.

Pros:

It works for ZOHO Mail!

Cons:

None for now

I'm amazed. It looks like a very simple product, but God knows what's happening behind to make it look so simple. Good job!

Pros:

Lower memory usage than a Chrome tab, looks good because it doesn't have elements that distract, magic rename-and-launch feature.

Cons:

Geek, entrepreneur... basically

KUDOS this needs to be the product of the day

Pros:

HOW THE HELL DID THEY DO THIS, AMAZING. Literally turns everything into an app. LOVE IT

Cons:

Nothing

I am still trying to understand how he did this. It's fluid, work perfectly on my OS and might actually save me ton of time

Pros:

What kind of sorcery is this? Well done!

Cons:

nothing so far

wanted to like it, but it's unreliable. If you close a flotato app with the red x and then want to re-open it later, it only works about half the time. The other half of the time you just click the icon in your dock and nothing happens. You have to manually quit and re-launch it, which means logging in again. I downloaded version 23 and the developer said it was fixed with version 24, but now I'm on version 27 and it's still no better. Save your $ until it's a finished product, because this is very much an unstable beta!
