Flo is a video editing app that auto-edits your videos into short shareable stories using Deep Learning, Computer Vision and A.I.
Everyone loves to shoot videos but don’t know what to do with them. Editing videos is difficult, time-consuming and a skillful job. So people don’t post anything at all or end up posting long boring videos. — Flo is here to make editing & sharing a video, as easy as shooting it.
INTELLIGENCE OF FLO
Flo uses Deep Learning, Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence to recognize objects and understand scenes in the video just like a human being. Now you can just tap on what you want and it will be added to your video story.
FLO VOICE ASSISTANT
Just tell what you want in your video and Flo will respond to you like your very own video making assistant, creating the video story of your choice.
For e.g. ‘Make me a video story of my cat’ or ‘Make a video of my last weekend trip to the beach’.
A.I. POWERED CAMERA
Flo goes beyond just capturing. It understands what is being captured and describes the scene to you in real-time.
With Voice Assistant, cinematic filters, foot-tapping music, beat sync editing and seamless connectivity with action cameras - Flo is designed to be your personal video editor friend.

@chadwhitaker Very interesting question! Unfortunately the answer is a no :| .. The promotion video required very precise time as well as correct narration. But I am pretty sure that day is not far.

is the video edited on my phone? im asking because it must need a lot of processing power to do voice recognition, image tagging, video editing and then saving the export.
@gopietz Hi Pietz, Yes, all the processing is happening on-device. No server side stuff. And that is one of the huge differentiation we have. We are running neural networks on iPhone GPU :)

@singhamardeep cool stuff! what framework supports the GPU? if i remember correctly tensorflow works on iOS but CPU only.
EDIT: so it works offline too?
@gopietz Yes, it works offline too. You can try in airplane mode ;)
iOS has opened up Metal framework and provided BNNS. We coded the rest.

@singhamardeep the offline part is really impressive. if you ask me that should be one of your main selling points. many people don't trust current AI technologies because it always means sharing the data with facebook or google. i really like your take on this.
