Hey @vikram_raghavan, really like the UX/UI and the tools you built. It definitely feels like a a good Robinhood companion. While searching I cannot find stock? is that closed to the Beta users. Would love to test. Great build!

@lucacosivi Hi Luca - Thank you for giving the product a try and for the kind words. Currently, we support stocks primarily in the US market as well as a majority of ADRs that are cross-listed in the US . As you can imagine, standardizing financial statements outside the US requires some standardization of the algorithms and this is in the roadmap. I'll be sure to send you a note when we expand outside the US market. Until then, happy investing and may compounding interest be with you.

@vikram_raghavan great to hear, i'll be on the lookout, i'll test it out for now with US stocks.

Hello Product Hunt šŸ‘‹, Today @nitin_shingate and I ( @vikram_raghavan ) are thrilled to announce the public launch of Finexy, a product (meaning - we wish someone would have paid us to build this but no one did šŸ™‚) that has taken us just over a year and a half to develop. When we first conceived Finexy, our initial observation was simple: Robinhood needs a companion app. While Robinhood has made it super simple for people to trade stocks, the market has significantly under-indexed in providing tools necessary to enable investors to go from sentiment traders (think: trending social media stock) to long-term value investors. A necessary transition because long-term investing generally yields better returns than sentiment trading over the long haul. Knowing that, our product thesis was: Could we provide investors with a set of tools that allow them to research and invest like a pro without burning through hours learning about financial theory and building a research framework. While we still have a long way to go, we believe our product has made significant strides in the right direction. 🚩 Over the last six months, our closed group of beta customers have consistently beaten the market by over 20% by following two simple steps: 1. Using screeners and stock research to shortlist high quality stocks 2. Using the portfolio builder to determine the right mix of stocks to buy to maximize returns while minimizing risk While no platform or person can guarantee results, what we can tell you is that most successful investors like Peter Lynch, Warren Buffett, and Ben Graham have outperformed the market by sticking to a research framework and focusing on long-term investing. I hope our products will allow you to do precisely that. Finexy is free for anyone to use. Please share your feedback, questions, and comments! I hope the product helps you put your money to work in a meaningful way. Happy investing! Nitin and Vik

Value investing is a slow process, often compared to watching paint dry. In order to avoid the temptation of people being too active in trading to their own detriment, I wonder if the app could capture hypothetical sentiment-driven trades of a user and show how these would have under-/over-performed index investing over time. This would also identify investors with consistently good instincts who could be followed by other users leading to a social aspect.
Vik Raghavan
@ahmaurya Hi Abhinav - Hypothetical trade modeling as well as scoring investors on their intuition are both fantastic ideas. I'll be sure to put them on the roadmap. I particularly like the idea of social signals because there is a ton of research that supports the notion that while no individual is usually right all the time, the crowd is generally always right. Interesting introduction to wisdom of the crowds here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wi...

Looks really nice - well done! I put a few companies in that I own shares in and got a variety of results, some I agree with, others I didn’t, but that’s to be expected as we don’t all have the same view on shares šŸ˜€ Interestingly AirBNB resulted in a blank page after search. All others were fine though.
Vik Raghavan
@simon_barker1 thank you for the feedback and for playing with the site. I’ll test Airbnb.
Vik Raghavan
@simon_barker1 also loved the feedback. Very thoughtful and objectivešŸ˜‡

@vikram_raghavan You're welcome, hopefully AirBNB was just my phone being weird. This looks great, well don again

Really cool product ! definitely something I was looking for. Just wondering if you have a disclaimer or those predictions are super accurate?
Vik Raghavan
@dinalk Hi Dinal! Thank you so much. I hate to give you a canned response but if I could predict something with a 100% certainty, I would not be publishing those recommendations for free ;). I do, however, believe in the framework that has been laid out vs. relying on Wall Street bets or other stock pickers like Motley Fool because the methodology, the underlying data, and the process are all transparent. If I were you, I'd setup a watchlist, and see how the recommendations perform over time. It's also important to benchmark performance against the sp500. Hope this helps and good luck mate! Happy investing Vik
Dinal K.
@vikram_raghavan thank for the elaborate response! Will check finexy
