Roughly 6 months ago, I was working on a commercial project for a restaurant startup.
Because it was a creative project, I knew from my experience that not agreeing to a creative concept in the beginning would lead to many revisions or an unhappy client.
So I began sending my client a bunch of Youtube, Stock photos/videos, Vimeo links through email.
The CEO would then have to visit each link, respond to the link using email:
1. I like the narration, but would appreciate more of an upbeat mood
After 3 emails, I knew it was not efficient, and needed a better solution to improve communication, as well as increase the professionalism.
So I created Filmboard out of my own need, and then saw how I can help video production companies/freelance video producers.
