Hey Product Hunt! 🚀 I'm thrilled to launch FeatureCat, a tool that enables software teams to build better products with user feedback. What💡 FeatureCat is all about making products your user’s love. FeatureCat covers the entire development process: from managing requirements and receiving feedback, to creating features and solutions, that users can then vote on and discuss, all the way to shipping and keeping your users up to date.
Close the loop and turn your users into fans. Batteries included 🔋 Every product on FeatureCat comes with its own public board, which can be integrated into your app, enabling seamless feedback submissions, discussions and feature voting for your users. FeatureCat’s dashboard offers a full feature management suite, to manage requests and features, see who requested what and when, and get full context on your users. Simple integration 🛠️ * Simple and straightforward integration with built-in authentication - embedded on the web, in an app, or as a hosted version * User metadata support to provide the necessary context to user requests * Full theming and branding support to make it fit right in A different spin 🌀 When users tell you what’s not working for them, they’re almost always right. When they tell you exactly how to fix it… less so. User feedback and requests (i.e. the problem) are very different from features (i.e. the solution). They’re intrinsically connected, because every feature is characterised and shaped by the problems it addresses. FeatureCat treats them in exactly that way: the product team decides on features, but builds atop of user feedback. This was a core element I was missing in most user feedback tooling - which is part of why I build FeatureCat. It’s free (with limits) 💳 FeatureCat has a free plan to start on, which scales all the way up to a thousand users giving feedback - perfect to give it a try, or on smaller or indie products. For everybody else, there’s a 60% off coupon on yearly plans (enter KITTY23 at Checkout). Next ➡️ What I’m most excited about is to see how people use FeatureCat and where I can take it. Any feedback is appreciated - and if you’re really going for it, leave it in FeatureCat. See ya!

Exciting work with FeatureCat! Working as a product designer for more than ten years, I've been to many of those user interviews, where the users solved all our problems in their heads :) The distinction between user feedback and solutions they suggest is so essential, yet often overlooked. Excited to see how this turns out. Congrats and good luck @benedictbartsch

This looks really good! I'm currently developing a macOS app which I have 20+ testers on using TestFlight, but I struggle with harnessing their feedback. Some send emails, with some there are long Messenger conversations, other doesn't say anything. Will have a look at FeatureCat - might be a central place to direct them to (plus it can carry on being useful also after public launch).

Little heads-up, when going to the website from PH you get this banner: "Get the yearly Indie plan with the code ... for just UNaN per year." Note the Not-a-Number. :) Also NaNs on the /pricing page.

@stpe thanks for letting me know. That’s Paddle fetching localized prices and I guess it’s maybe blocked in your area end? Will look into it! Also: FeatureCat is a great fit for a macOS app. Let me know if you need any help!

@stpe and price loading should now handle the issue properly. Can you maybe check? :)

@benedictbartsch Now it works as expected! ⭐️

That's really great to have platform where you can organize, build, and communicate.

Why the cat as logo?
Benedict Bartsch
@fabian_maume Because cats have super strong senses and that aligns with building great products… just kidding. Came up with the name, added the cat. 🐈
