Hey Product Hunt Community! 👋 I’m Suryansh, co-founder of Familey. The idea for Familey came from a realization that hit me during one of our family reunions. All my family members live far apart, and we only get to see each other for about 20 days out of the entire year. I started to notice that despite our group chats, we were growing apart. We knew the big updates, but we didn't really know each other’s current lives. We were missing out on the experience of actually living with each other. I wanted to build something that would enable us to truly know each other, to bridge the distance and preserve both our old memories and the new ones we’re making today. That’s why I built Familey. What makes Familey different: 1. Daily Sparks: We move past the 'how was your day' and ask questions that actually reveal what your family members are experiencing today. 2. Share to Unlock: To keep our space intimate and active, stories stay locked until you contribute your own. It ensures no one is just a 'lurker' and everyone stays connected. 3. A Permanent Legacy: No ads, no followers. Just a private, dedicated archive for the stories that define your family. This is Version 1.0 of our vision and would love to hear your thoughts.
