EnfermerIA

AI-powered wound care assistant & nursing toolkit 🩺

Stop measuring wounds "by eye". EnfermerIA uses computer vision to objectively analyze wound evolution, automates clinical scales (like Braden), and manages unit inventory. Built by a nurse to reduce paperwork and improve patient care.

👋 Hello Product Hunt community! I’m Antonio, a registered nurse from Spain who also happens to be a full-stack developer. I built EnfermerIA because I was frustrated with three things I faced during every hospital shift: 📉 Subjectivity: Arguing with colleagues about whether a wound had improved or not, based solely on "eyeballing" it. 📝 Burnout: Wasting hours on paperwork and manually calculating risk scales instead of caring for patients. 📦 Stockouts: Running to get a dressing for a cure and finding the shelf empty. So, I decided to merge my two worlds (Healthcare + Code) to fix it. What does EnfermerIA do? 📸 AI Analysis: Snap a photo of a wound, and the computer vision algorithm estimates dimensions and tissue type. ⚡ Automation: It automatically calculates risk scales (like Braden) and generates evolution reports. 🏥 Inventory Management: Tracks your unit's stock so you never run out of supplies. This is a bootstrapped project (coded between night shifts ☕). It’s currently in Spanish (my local market), but the technology is universal. I’d love to get your feedback on the UX and the concept. How would you improve the workflow for busy healthcare professionals? Thanks for checking it out! Antonio.
